playoff Format
The 5-game round-robin playoff tournament runs from February 5 to March 5.
Quarterfinals will be on March 12. Seedings will be based on finish in the round-robin. 1st and 2nd will play a game that counts for stats, but not seeding. 3rd vs. 6th and 4th vs. 5th.
Semifinals will be on March 19. Seedings will be based on finish in the round-robin and quarterfinals. 1st vs. lower-seeded team from quarterfinals, and 2nd vs. higher-seeded team from quarterfinals.
Semifinal losers will play a consolation game, and winners will play the finals on April 2.
TIEBREAKERS
Any ties at the end of the round-robin will be broken using the following format.
- Team vs. team in that round
- Team with most wins in that round
- Team with greater goal differential (ie goals for minus goals against) in that round
- Team with most goals scored in that round
- Team with fewest goals against in that round
- Team vs. team in the regular season
- Coin flip
